River Phoenix appears in the first 10 minutes of the film as a young Indiana.

For all the derring-do, I noticed that dr. Jones never gets caught for simple things, like automobile theft. A rollicking, kitschy, and cartoonish movie.

I still think Raiders is the best, but this come in a close second. It's funnier and has more heart thanks to the connection between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.

My top Indiana Jones flik, thanks to the amazing talents of Sean Connery.

A cinematic classic. There's nothing I can say that millions of other reviewers haven't said. That said, I've always found it interesting that even if Henry Jones hadn't bothered with the adventure, things would have ended the same. Walter Donovan and Ilsa would have died failing the tests, or passed and chosen the wrong chalice and wound up aging to dust, or they would have picked the right chalice and died trying to move it across the seal. The same goes for Indiana in Raiders of the Lost Ark. The bad guys would have had their faces melting off once they opened the ark, Indy or no Indy. Jones only really made a difference in the Temple of Doom movie.

Love the Indiana Jones movies! One of my favorite, fun, action films with a star-studded cast. Sean Connery and Harrison Ford are brilliant together as father and son.

Indiana Jones(with a Scottish accent): "And not before time! Do you intend to leave us standing on the door step all day? We're drenched! Ahcoo! Now look what you've done! I've gone and caught a sniffle." Butler: "Are you expected?" Indy:"Do not take that tone with me, my good man. Now buttle off and inform Baron von Brunwald that lord Clarence McDonald and his LOVELY assistant are here to view the tapestries." Butler:" Tapestries?" Indy: "Dear me, the man is dense, is he not? This is a castle isn't it? There are tapestries here?" Butler: "This is a castle and we have many tapestries. But if you are Scottish lord,THAN I AM MICKEY MOUSE!!!
