Boy meets girl, boy marries girl, boy then courts girl. And girl seduces boy on honeymoon. Twists involve a white-collar criminal and his amateur henchmen and her ex-boyfiend(toxic relationship).

I don't usually enjoy contemporary romances that were written in the 1980s, as they commonly feature an overbearing male and a weak-willed female, but Between the Lines wasn't like this at all. Cormick Grayson was a strong male, and did have a couple I-know-best moments, but Amber Langley was equally strong and didn't bow down to him. This was a great story and I really enjoyed reading it. I'd be happy to recommend it to any fan of contemporary romances.
