This is *the* book for identifying butterflies in Oregon. As a long-time member of the Eugene-Springfield chapter of the North American Butterfly Association, I have often used this guide on hikes (or after I’ve returned home with a good picture of a butterfly) to identify the species. Check this out and you’ll be identifying swallowtails, blues, fritillaries, and skippers in no time!
