This book came recommended but I wouldn't do the same. Interesting to read but the format reads as a "script" from a talk show and is a repetitive narrative so doesn't really go anywhere. Read one chapter you've pretty much read the book.....there are much better books out there to invest time in.

This book is not a substitute for therapy, but its simple method is a great way to help people in mental pain think about their emotions in a different way, and start dealing with them

This book is utter garbage. Read at your own risk.

It is pseudo therapy created by a woman with no therapeutic credentials and a one-size fits all solution.

Watch out for victim blaming, there's loads of it.

Sick and twisted.

This article sums up the numerous flaws in Katie's logic.

If you are looking for books about dealing with abuse, look at the work of Patricia Evans and Lundy Bancroft.
