It shouldn't come as any surprise given the fairly recent news coverage of Chinese officials expressing anger when Japanese strong-men deny it all, or hint the women wanted it. To the 21st Century Japanese it didn't happen, but if it did, it was necessary and justified, and the women secretly hungered to be raped by Japanese men anyway. Similar to the phenomenon of every Japanese today wants to have a bite of the last whale on earth and is willing to pay big bucks for the chance. Even if those whales are contaminated by the radioactive water the Japanese are dumping into the North Pacific constantly.
