A must read of a true hero and John Kennedy could have used his family's power to avoid the war and he did the exact opposite. He demanded to be sent to the Pacific and be assigned to the dangerous duty as a skipper of a plywood PT Boat. After his boat was sliced in half at night by a Japanese Destroyer John Kennedy did everything in his power to save the surviving members of his crew. A classic story of heroism.
