Entertaining book for small ones about a mean troll and three goats who outwit the troll to get to a better place to eat and grow. I found it a challenge to read about the three goats all with the same name, because saying "three Billy Goats Gruff" produced a speaking impediment for me which thoroughly entertained my daughter while I was trying to read the book to my twin grandchildren. Illustrations were very evocative and interesting. Always a good story when the good guys win, and an opportunity to talk about being smart in a challenging situation.

Classic story (brings me back to my childhood). My 3 and 5 year old daughters loved it.
