This is a timeless story of the unexamined life lived to 100 years from Britian to Vancouver BC. Ethel Wilson is a bold Canadian novelist, on the cutting edge for her time [1940's] and she should be a classic in the school room. Read all her books. They are charming and thought provoking. I wish she had had time to write more!
