This was my first read by this author and I enjoyed the blend of fiction and utterly captivating history. Learned something new and shocking about Martin Luther and it inspired further research. Would recommend.

Truly one of the worst books I read in years. Poorly written, poorly researched, one dimensional characters, plot holes so large one could drive a tank through them to coin a cliché. I saw this title under Historical fiction for the 2014…

Great author. The story is suspenseful and extremely well done. Although this is an historical fiction novel it reads like a true story. Captivating indeed!
My first time reading anything by this author. I extremely enjoyed this book, a real page turner.

Very basic adventure story, with almost no character development and some truly unrealistic dialogue. The "hero", Jacob Weisz, was very whiny and immature. Meh.
