Okayish but gave it more than half for showing how useless the Amish tradition of shunning is out-dated & the general depiction of Amish life, traditions & its people, good & bad.

I had not read the books this was based one but I did enjoy the film. Those that like Amish Fiction and Hallmark movies would enjoy this film
I may have started watching this or read the book. Not quite sure. But I did not finish the movie. If you don't want to disclose someone's origin, why keep things from the past?
