It was a little more young adult than I expected, but I enjoyed it.

A terrific retelling of Cinderella. The familiar parts of the story are that Cinder is an orphan with a nasty stepmother and two stepsisters, and there's a handsome prince and an upcoming ball. But the author's imagination takes off on…

Cinder is a beautiful re-telling of Cinderella set in the futuristic world of New Beijing with humans, cyborgs and lunar people that reside on the moon with otherworldly powers of control.

The premise is good, and the characters are compelling. The true fault of the story is how obvious the twist is (You'll guess it in the first couple of chapters), and that it doesn't get revealed until the end of the book. There is no…

Thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook version of this Cinderella retelling. Although I figured out the final "twist" early on, I still continued rooting for Cinder and Kai. This is a cinematic story and I had to check to see that it's not (so…

I'm not sure how I missed this book (and the ensuing series) when it came out, but I'm glad I stumbled across it. Marissa Meyer's creative re-telling of the classic Cinderella story was fun. On to book #2!

I had tried reading this book once before and don't know why I was unsuccessful. Listening to it now as an audiobook, I am riveted. I already have a hold for the next one. Audiobook may be the perfect medium for this, it is fantastic.

This is the first audioBook I have listened to, I really enjoyed it actually, I at first thought it would be monotone and google-voice flat. I found out I like people reading to me!, I had read the book before, But listening to it, I now…

I love this book! I had got it from a friend and was a little not into reading it. But once I got into it I couldn't. I recommend this for any reader who is looking for a fantasy or Sci-Fi

When a friend recommended it to me, I thought, "Oh it's just another person's twist of their version of Cinderella, it's probably going to be about princesses, true love, etc. etc." Basically the kind of stuff I don't like to read about in…

I really liked this book. The reader is great. A cyborg and a prince. A plague running rampart through the kingdom. A queen from the moon who wants the prince. I could not wait to see what would happen next. Everyone should read this…

A wonderful reimagining of Cinderella. Cinder can’t remember anything after the accident that turned her into a cyborg when she was 11. She’s always earned her keep as a mechanic, but circumstances have given her ideas of running away:…

I want MOARRRR. That is all. Cinder, Cinder, CINDER! Man! She just dominates the book. Her character and personality makes up for all the ways (and there are plenty) the book is lacking in.

This was recommended to me, and although it is" teen fiction", this is a great story, beautifully read, that is interesting to all ages. Can't wait for the second book as a talking book.
