This is enjoyable, at times laughed out loud.
Evil Oliver's story is brilliant!
Question his genius, evil or benevolent, after all several pizza references and none of them Mama's tri-sausage pizza? ... errrp, he is twelve.
Fun read.
Sorry…

Oliver is hilariously mean-spirited to almost everyone he comes in contact with, from his obliviously uncool English teacher to the ex-alcoholic he pays to represent his vast business dealings. No one is spared from Oliver’s scorn, which…

Face it - you kind of always wanted to be an evil genius, didn't you? Josh Lieb's debut novel is a hysterical view of an eighth-grader who is an evil genius and has billions of dollars, dozens of world leaders, and an army of supersercret…

This book grew darkly, uncomfortably cynical before taking a turn toward the light as the protagonist began to receive his comeuppance. At times he seemed gleefully misanthropic, which was painful to read. The emotional center of the book…

A delightful, fun and quick read. I loved it and in all honesty, a funny ass book. I highly recommend. Oliver is hilarious in his own twisted, turned-around off the wall kind of way. To fully get the book without giving away any juicy…

This book is a fantastic read for reluctant readers (especially boys!) who have a sense of humor or maybe a little bit of an evil genius streak themselves. Mr. Lieb keeps the pace moving at a good clip, the story light hearted with a good…

Have you ever met a kid and thought, "You're smarter than you let on"? No? Well, you'd certainly think that if you met Oliver Watson. Actually you wouldn't. Oliver is an evil genius who spends his days as an overweight, prepubescent,…

After The Host, which was so emotional and suspenseful, I needed something like *I am a Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want to be Your Class President.* Don't be turned off by how childlike the book appears, it's extremely funny and…

I love this book, it's a funny a twisted little tale, and I never could quite figure out if I was rooting for or against Oliver.

When I started this book, I wasn't sure how I felt about the format, with the footnotes and the pictures but they really just made the book better. I would recommend this book to anyone; it is truely hilarious. I'm actually sad that I'm…

I picked this book up because the title made me laugh and let me say the book did not disapoint. It was a very funny read, which was a good break from some of the darker novels that are available to kids and teens alike.
