I'm a little late to the game with this one, but I'm glad I finally read it! It was a bit long but I really enjoyed it. It was sad but also beautiful.

I tried to read this book. I did not like the unnecesary sexual content (thankfully there was not a great deal of it) or the revenge scene. I usually finish the books that I start, but this one was a chore for me to pick up. I found it…

3. 5 stars - This story takes the big idea of time travel and brings it to an intimate level. Shows that love doesn't have to be conventional and makes you pay attention and savour all the small moments.

This is a wonderful story, written very well, and a great read. The characters are memorable, and it’s so sweet and romantic. I recommend watching the 2022 TV series. It follows the novel closely, and it’s very well done as well.

Surprising in that I was expecting more of a sci-fi about time travel, but what it really is is a love story. It’s a great book and fun to read. Great characters, and the timeline chopped up and out of order for one character but not the…

If there’s such a thing as a time-travel/romance literary masterpiece, this must be it. The timeline of this story is complex, mind-bending, and truly satisfying once you settle into it. Despite the length (probably a bit too long), I…

I’m afraid I didn’t see the attraction to this book. It was very confusing, not to mention very long. I guess time traveling is not for me :(

I was surprised that Henry's time travel was interpreted as a disease, not unlike epilepsy, where the victim travels in time and awakes with no clothes. It was a bit confusing when Henry would spend time with an earlier or later version of…

This is one of those books that are emotionally touching but logically puzzling. ⁣ ⁣ The premise is simple: Henry is gifted (or cursed, depending on one’s viewpoint) with the ability to time-travel, and pops in and out of the lived…

I loved this book. I found it hard to understand the time traveling concept and rules in the beginning of the book, but it got better once I grasped it. Although some people have argued that Henry was grooming Claire, I don't think it's…

“The Time Traveler's Wife” took some time for me to get into, but when I did it was really good. Majority of this book is slowly paced and leaves you wondering if there is going to be an actual plot. It’s a good balance of somewhat…

Beautiful. The mechanics, albeit not perfect are understandable and coherent, something very difficult to achieve in a time-travel novel. This is done with limited focus on the science and technicalities behind Henry’s condition, but…

Sweet and imaginative. Focuses more on the emotions tied to time travel, rather than the interesting subject itself. For science fiction, it was too wrapped up in "fate" for my taste. 2/5

It's a time-travel book. I quite enjoy time-travel books that have a relationship at the heart of them until I try to explain them, and then the whole construct falls apart. It is the story of Henry, who travels back and forth through…

This used to be a favorite book of mine but over time my reading tastes have changed. I've also become more critical of how women characters are portrayed in books. Although this is titled The Time Traveler's Wife the most important…

im not crying youre crying The characters in The Time Traveler's Wife are so intricately made so that you fall in love with them, fearing the danger that is foreshadowed. Henry and Clare's relationship, struggles, and worries are so…

The first half of the book was an odd mélange of vaguely misogynistic wish-fulfillment fantasy, bad romance novel, and EW EW EW EW EW NO AGH. Henry clearly isn't appreciating Claire for who she is when she's younger, but for who she will…

I really like the film, so I had high expectations for the book. Certain parts ended up being a complete slog to get through though, and I felt like the book could have been trimmed by a good hundred (or more) pages. I found myself quickly…

Clare and Henry are madly in love. Even though Henry has an illness that can send him to the past or the future when he gets stressed.

The Time Traveler’s Wife is a love story between a time traveler and his wife. This novel is a little bit confusing to read due to the misplace in time and all the incidents around time travelling. What amazed me the most in this novel is…

You know those books that you can read over and over and never get tired of? That feel like a warm bed when you're reading them? This is that book for me. Although not particularly profound or even good reading, I love this book.
