Spring Awakenings

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Fern Hill Branch

Description

Join us for one in a series of climate change themed programs brought to you by the Museum of Glass.

After a long winter, it's time to awaken to spring's sounds, sights, smells, and sensations. In this talk, Sarah Low will help us understand how trees come out of dormancy, what happens as they and other plants start blooming, how wildlife responds, birds begin nesting, and what to look for as we spend more time outdoors. Join us, let your senses awaken from their wintery nap, and get excited to welcome spring!

This program is possible with the support of the City of Tacoma/Tacoma Creates. This talk will be offered as a hybrid event. To join virtually, please register through our calendar.

This program is part of a series in support of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read program, Bewilderment by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Powers, and the Museum of Glass.
