Join us for Books on Tap, a roving book club where we meet up at taprooms, pubs, and watering holes to talk about books and make new friends.
In January, Books on Tap will join the Museum of Glass citywide Big Read program to read Bewilderment, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Powers.
Bewilderment is a novel set in Appalachia about an astrobiologist who finds an unusual way to help his troubled nine-year-old son control his emotions, connect with his deceased mother, and follow his passion to save the environment and its endangered species.
Check out the book from Tacoma Public Library or purchase from a local bookseller to join in the discussion.
Free, 21+. We will meet at Narrows Brewing (waterfront)
This program is part of a series in support of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read program, Bewilderment by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Powers, and the Museum of Glass.
