You're invited to a powerful evening of connection, community, and conversation as part of Tacoma Reads 2025—a citywide literary program presented in partnership with the City of Tacoma’s Mayor’s Office and Tacoma Public Library.
We'll be screening the award-winning documentary "Divided We Fall," created by this year’s Tacoma Reads author, Valarie Kaur. This moving film explores the stories of Sikh Americans in the aftermath of 9/11 and the wave of hate crimes that followed. Through personal narratives and historical context, "Divided We Fall" offers a compelling call for justice, resilience, and solidarity.
