Tacoma Reads: Storytime with Ted Brown Music

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Fern Hill Branch

Description

Join Ted Brown's music groups for preschoolers to explore music with their peers!

In these groups, we will explore the rhythms of our lives! There is a rhythm to everything -- playing instruments, moving to the music, and singing and singable books will let your kiddos experience activities that promote

listening to directions, self-expression, taking verbal and non-verbal cues from their peers as well as instructors, and so much more will help get them ready to be in kindergarten!

Tacoma Reads is a literary program series presented in partnership by the City of Tacoma's Mayor's Office and the Tacoma Public Library.

The theme of Tacoma Reads 2024 is Rhythms of Resilience, and we invite readers of all ages to explore the theme by reading the book selected for their age group, attending curated programs, and engaging in discussion.

Tacoma Reads: read the books, attend events, and join the conversation
