Eva Abram of Rainwater Storytelling will introduce you to the life and times of Dr. Nettie Craig Asberry a tireless fighter for equal rights. She was one of the founders of Tacoma's NAACP, a gifted music teacher, a volunteer social worker, and a staunch member of more than one African American women's club. Dr. Nettie Crail Asberry was Shining Star in Tacoma's community.
