Low Tide Beach Walk - Jack Hyde Park

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Jack Hyde Park

Description

Join us for a morning of nature and learning, with our friends at Habor WildWatch! Harbor WildWatch is a local organization that is dedicated to teaching the community how to be good stewards of the Salish Sea!

During this special event, they will be giving us a low tide tour, offering us a glimpse into the estuary ecosystem of which we are part. Beach Walks run in all weather (except extreme wind or thunderstorms), so please dress appropriately. We recommend closed-toe shoes for safety, rain boots, water shoes, or an old pair of sneakers you don’t mind getting a little wet and muddy.

Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, layers, and a snack if you think you will need it. Each beach walk will last approximately 60-90 minutes but you are welcome to peel off at any time before the beach walk concludes.

Designed for all ages.

No registration required.

Presented with Harbor WildWatch.
