Description

Celebrate National Deaf History Month this April!

The South Tacoma, Swasey, and Mottet Libraries are partnering with the  Hearing, Speech and Deaf Center-Tacoma (HSDC), and will have a variety of fun activities and programs scheduled throughout the month.

There's something for all ages!


Activity and coloring pages
Book displays
Interactive Deaf History Timeline
Deaf poetry recordings and poetry activities
Craft station at all TPL locations - coordinated by the TPL Youth Services Team

Archival recording sessions capturing Tacoma's Deaf History
(which will be archived in our NorthwestRoom)
