Join us for an afternoon of nature and learning, with our friends from Habor WildWatch at Owen Beach!
Harbor Wild Watch is a local organization that is dedicated to teaching the community how to be good stewards of the Salish Sea! During this special event, they will be giving us a "behind the scenes" tour of Owen Beach at low tide, offering us a glimpse into the ocean ecosystem while learning good beach etiquette.
- Getting to the Beach: Park in designated spots. We will meet near the picnic tables near the concession stand window at the scheduled start time.
- Terrain: There are paved steps or low sloping paved paths to the beach. This beach includes areas with sand, gravel, cobble, and occasional boulders.
- Attire: This program runs in all weather, so please dress appropriately. We recommend closed-toe shoes for safety, rain boots, water shoes, or an old pair of sneakers you don’t mind getting a little wet and muddy.
