Tacoma Art Museum hosts a variety of fun experiences especially for children ages 2–8 and their families both in the museum and in your library. Try out a new art style with an activity led by Tacoma Art Museum (TAM) staff. Hear a story and explore related works of art. It’s fun for the whole family!
For the April workshop, we will be reading We Are Water Protectors by Carole Lindstrom and looking at an artwork by Wendy Red Star from our exhibition Native Portraiture: Power and Perception. Kids will have the opportunity to create a collage portrait telling their story, inspired by how Wendy Red Star shares her story with us in her photograph!
