Tacoma, come see the creative projects presented by the students of Sherman Elementary in How Can Nature Be Our Teacher? A Virtual Exhibit From Sherman Elementary. The exhibit is available for viewing from Monday, May 10th, to Wednesday, June 30th, at Tacoma Library's online Handforth Gallery. They are from the Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and Fourth grades and will surprise you with their creativity and imagination.

Sherman Elementary, located in North Tacoma, is an innovative STEAM school that follows a project based learning model emphasizing outdoor learning. Project based learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects.
