Join us to celebrate short (often hilarious) videos created by local kids and teens about children's books at this FREE screening and award show. The rollicking event is emceed by children's author James Kennedy and local legend Doug Mackey.

It features an Oscar-style stage show and free popcorn, while supplies last. All ages are welcome. Registration is required to attend this event.

The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual video contest in which kids and teens create movies that tell the tell the entire story of a Newbery-winning (or honor) book in 90 seconds or a little bit longer. Parents and educators can help. In fact, they are encouraged to!
