Join us for an informal gathering to celebrate the 100th birthday of beloved local writer, teacher and historian Murray Morgan. Born in Tacoma on February 16, 1916, Murray made Northwest history come alive through best-selling books such as Skid Road, Puget's Sound, The Mill on the Boot, South on the Sound and The Last Wilderness. He passed away in 2000.
Starting at 10 AM in the Murray and Rosa Morgan Room in the Northwest Room at Main Branch, Murray's friends and fans will share stories or favorite passages from his works. Stop by and contribute to the conversation!
